How to make an African Tribal Mask for a school project?
Well, I was asked to do an African Tribal Mask from a tribe, any. I had to look up some pictures from the internet and stuff and I found 2. Now, my question is, HOW THE HELL DO I MAKE IT?! I need serious help on this! I would like to know some suggestions on how to make it, what materials to use, what are the correct procedures on making that kind of mask? If there are websites that explain how to do it, please give them to me. Now, this doesnt have to be professionally done or anything. Im going to be a freshman, so anyway, but I do need ur help! YOU GUYS HAVE NEVER LET ME DOWN! Thanks! Here are the links of pics of the 2 masks that im talking about:

If you can find an old Halloween mask, that would be easiest to get started...
If you wanted to create your own mask, using your
(or a little brother's--LOL) face, I'd go to a craft store and buy some type of plaster (make sure it is not toxic to your skin) and place it on your face, avoiding your eyes and mouth, of course. (I think you could create your own "plaster" with flour, starch and water--google piñata-making for a good recipe).
Let the plaster dry...
Take it off your face (LOL!) and decorate it accordingly...
The wooden mask would have to be done differently, I think
