Wedding dress panic! creative suggestions needed.?
Unable to find THE perfect dress, I bought a Sally Crew gown off the rack for a great price but now I'm second guessing myself. Its very similar to the dress in this link, but it has some beadwork on the neckline and around the waste.

I have to get the straps taken in so that the top fits, but Im worried the overall is kind of boring. Im thinking of adding buttons over the zipper in the back, removing the beads to get the clean look, and maybe putting some gathers on the side through just the lace. I feel like the front is unflattering in the stomach area, being so plain. Do these sound like they would work?
My dress is also not quite as full at the bottom, its a sheath and not an a-line like the pic.
Any suggestions as to what I can do?
Im going to a real seamstress obviously. I just want to know what I can have done to add some detail!
I think the dress is very simple but it is elegant and beautiful at the same time. If you feel the stomach area is unflattering see if your seamstress can add some beadwork to it or maybe a thick colorful sash in a neutral or earthy tone. If you want it fuller at the bottom, get a slip that has layers of tulle but not an actual ring to puff it out slightly. I hope this helps some and good luck to you!
