Which Organizations, Foundations and Groups help students with financial needs?
Hello, I'm talking about the organizations like lets say; Hispanic foundations, Caucasian Foundations, African American ect...
Or LGBT (Lesbian Gay Bisexual and Transgendered) grants. Catholic grants, Christian grants, Art, Science, Math, Medicine grants. Low income grants. OMG. when will I stop. .. get my meaning? ok. thanks.
This is a great question! There are grant programmes that do NOT have to be paid back as well of course as those that do. Even the Colleges and universities have courses in 'Grant Writing' and the government money is there for the taking if the forms are filled out. You might fit any criteria. It could be something as obscure as Your age, living situation, medical needs and as far out as it sounds, someone who loves animals. The grants are endless. These that I speak of are goten to via your indroducing yourself to an instructor.....always a good move...and then asking if there is a student who could for credit help or assist you in any way carry out your desire or help with education. I get you, believe me.....Universities first..make phone calls, keep a log of who you speak to and with....favourable and vice versa. Speak with the gay, bi, trans etc people to see what they have to say for if you fit the criteria...someone has donated in your stead quite often. Please remember this....every 'No' that you encounter is one step closer to YES ~ and with that in tow you cannot lose! You may be able to pull off a full on free college education.....trust me had I your youth I would do this...as it turned out I was FOUR times offered a full scolarship, Books, Tuition etc. ~ You just never know when someone will say "YES!" ~ I applaud your courage in asking this delicate question....as you might encounter someone saying 'There is no such thing as a free lunch', very Kurt Vonnegut "TINSTAAFL"...i.e. there is no such thing as a free lunch...BS I say....but only time as your currency herre is he modulater with you the brains....look into the grants as THEY WORK!!!! Check the hot lines in the beginning of your phone book, Colleges, Uni's and Clergy as well!
