Why I have never possessed a ballpoint pen long enough for it to run out of ink?
I spend my whole life buying ballpoint pens (and socks - I've asked another question about them). I've been on this earth for 37 years and have never kept a ballpoint pen long enough to see it empty of ink. Why not? Who is collecting all my lost pens? Am I really unusual in this? Do I need therapy (with respect to this issue, not generally)?
That is why they sell them buy the dozen. Pens have walking shoes built right on them.
