Detroit/Dearborn knife laws?
I plan on carrying a concealed Ka-bar fixed blade knife for self-defense. It's got a 7 inch blade, and is 12 inches all told. I read that state law dictates that you can carry a "friggin machete" so long as the police can't prove "nefarious intent". Is this so? Any information would be much appreciated.
And yes, I'm also going to carry CS spray. A knife is necessary for the scare factor.
Call the Michigan State Police and ask what the state regulations are for a fixed blade knife--don't give them a reason, you don't have to. Pepper spray is okay, you might want a spring baton.
