my teapot doesnt whistle - any diy suggestions?
i received a beautiful teapot for the holidays, but it doesnt whistle and i need it to ( i burn pots often)
i cant return it - can i add something to make it whistle?
It will only whistle if it is a whistling teapot. The flap over the spout should have a small hole in it, that is where the steam comes out to make it whistle.
If it is a whistling tea pot, maybe you are filling it too full, above the spout. If the spout is under water, steam can't come out of the little hole and it won't whistle.
