Bedroom Redecoration ideas. Help Please?
I'm considering redecorating my bedroom. I want it to be quite attractive and feminine. There isn't alot of space as I have a double bed, but I would like to revert back to a single bed. Have you got any ideas, like cushions, blankets, rugs, etc?
Also paint colours:
I want to keep it quite attractive so I was thinking a dark pinky purple with magnolia? What do you think?
Also how can I persuade my parents to let me go back to a single bed as I have very little room to move about?
I have a bad back and this isn't doing my back any favours with having to bob and weave everywhere.
Dear Bob and Weave, Small spaces can be wonderfullonce you get them under control. Map out a floorplan of your room (try rcwilley.com) with windows and doors, try to keep your double bed becausee you can use it when you go away to college or move out. Take out everything but the bed and try repositioning it several different ways. Try putting some furniture in the closet to save space, like a dresser. Try one nightstand instead of two, and wall lamps for bedside. Whatever color you decide to use just be sure it works with the carpet and maybe use your dark pinky purple as an accent color with magnolia as the base of your bedding draperies and wall colors, with brass metals.
