What was the basic pack for a World War Soldier?
American, Russian, British, is there a website that shows their pack, such as clothing, boots, machetes, guns, canteens, bags, belts, billhooks, spades, tnt, grenades etc. What knives did they carry, the ones that are in leather sheaths on the back upside down with the handle pointing towards the ground. Looks like billhooks.
