Is atheism an accepted religion for the Boy Scouts of America?
I heard it was. Although it doesn't make any sense, a lot of change has been going on in the BSA.
I'm a 15 year old Life Scout (Eagle by April).

Since Atheism is not a religion, I can't imagine the BS would classify as such. I thought it was not so much religion, but a belief in a god, that would allow you to participate in BS. That's why so many of the boys in my UU church cannot be boy scouts, and that's why I do not support the BS or the United Way, which in turn supports the BS.
