question about hi-shine glaze clearcoat (folkart brand)?
I painted my coffee & creamer ceramic jars, but when i was trying to seal the paint with clearcoat (folk art brand) some got inside the jars. Would it be safe for me to use the jars for everyday use in the kitchen again?
It would probably be safer if you could remove the clear coat from the inside of the jars. Unless of course, it says somewhere on the clear coat bottle that it is safe for eating utensils.
You might try a paint solvent. It should come off quite easily. I'm attaching a link that should help you decide which one is best but before you run to the store to buy something, you might try a little fingernail polish remover if you have that at hand.
