HELP!! i bought this freakish looking idol statue from a flea market...what God is it? where is it from?
ok, so i was at the local weekend flea market, n i saw this peddler with many unusual antiques n handicrafts, such as old chinese porcelain plates n vases, asian tribal wood carvings, chinese jade, mayan looking brass ware n jewelry etc.
so i saw this idol statue carved out of stone, it looks old, n has some aged spots. i bought it for $20.
now as it is sitting in my bedroom desk, i m kind of freaked out, by its devilish looks.
anyway, does anybody know what god is this? which ancient culture or tribe is it from? how do i worship or respect it??
i m scared......help!!!

I don't know what the statue resembles, but I think there is an explanation as to why you are scared of it. All objects are made of atoms, which vibrate. They are capable of holding information within those vibrations. Objects can carry energy or some sort of spirit interaction. They hold some spiritual value. If the item was heavily used/loved/hated, it can quite likely carry a powerful imprint that is usually easy to detect. It is easier to pick up the influence of emotionally charged vibrations so, for example, a knife used in a murder may have a stronger field than an ordinary kitchen knife. Think of an item that was given to you by or belonged to either to someone who passed or someone who isn't close to you anymore... Do you feel a connection to that person when you handle the object? Very likely.
When you picked up that statue, did you experience a sensation or feeling that you could not quite explain? Or, perhaps even found thoughts of another time or place floating through your mind? Then you have experienced a little psychometric. The word, in this context, means to ' measure the soul' of some object. Parapsychologists today consider it a form of recognition - the ability of consciousness to observe the past. The practice of psychometry is based upon the notion of ability to sense vibrations from objects. These vibrations, generally speaking, are part of a layered field around the object that may be perceived.
With some practice you may develop your psychometric ability further. Get into your relaxed state and place the statue that you bought in your hand. It may help to place your other hand lightly on top and gently caress the object. Close your eyes. Allow yourself to note any thought, images or feelings that come to you as you hold the object. Do this for 5 or 10 minutes and write down your impressions. At this stage you should not try to interpret your impressions. Merely take note of them. You should spend as much time as you can on this experiment as it is a fundamental practice. Psychometry is an ability that can be developed with time, practice and patience. You are tuning into the object’s psychic energy, which takes time to be able to do accurately and easily.
If the energy of that statue makes you really uncomfortable you could place it somewhere out of sight. Or perhaps sell it, maybe?
Good luck.
