Knife Being Held at Canadian Customs?
So I order a Folding knife and a book off the internet and i ONLY receive the book today along with the recite for the 2 items saying the knife is being "held". Now i paid over $200 for this knife and there is NOTHING ILLEGAL ABOUT IT!!! So what the hell does this mean im not going to get it now or what?? cause I have already contacted the company and they claim they cant do anything about it... How much longer do i have to wait if its even going to come?? btw the knife is a Cold Steel Large Espada
You need to contact the Canada Border Services Agency (CBSA). It is possible they are investigating the knife to determine if it violates some kind of import law, due to the customs agent that inspected it being...well, a bit slow. It is possible once they correctly determine it is not a switchblade or some other illegal knife, that they will release it.
