I keep hearing people say Muslims worship a moon God.
This is very funny. Apparently, the most evidence they have is a figurine of a moon god with "Allah" written on it, and I guess they are oblivious to the fact that "Allah" just means "God".
It's like finding a statue of Zeus that says "God: on it and assuming Christians worship it because they have the same name.
I did NOT ask if Muslims and Christians worship the same God, because of the Christian hypocrisy that it is OK for Jews to worship God and not Jesus, but not OK for Muslims to do so.
They are all from the Abrahamic root, but Muslims and Jews disagree on this one. They have many things in common, as they are monotheistic.
Most agree that Christianity, Islam, and Judaism all come from the same roots. What happened after that is a matter of contention.
Personally (just my two cents), I think we are ALL worshipping the same God, that all Gods are One, just different aspects.
