My friends (black) are getting married. They want unique gift (like a fun shower party favor type of thing. Gifts cannot be bought from the malls, or traditional chain stores, it has to be unique). So I found a black panther belt buckle for the groom, and a black pearl hat pin for the bride. (My mom thinks it is a dumb idea because it is too ethnic) So now I am thinking to give them a beautiful set of china which I brought here from Japan. (one of a kind collector item which is hand painted by top Japanese artist) What do you think is a better idea? Thank you
The set of China is something they can cherish and use more often. The belt buckle and the hat pin are nice, but how often would they really be able to enjoy them? The China set will be the gift that keeps on giving, because they can use it for holidays and special occasions, and always remember that you gave it to them. As a married couple starting out, it is something they will definetly need.
