Ive read alot of History of the Alamo ...and it seems that the version we have?
In history books is not the same as what has been shown in History Channel and movies that have come out recently. Our history books read that Davy Crocket went down fighting with a rifle in his hand..yet ..Davy Crocket was a P.O.W. and was slaughtered by the Mexicans. Another has a mexican soldier coming up behind Sam Houston with an evil wicked grin about to stab Sam Houston..Why has history painted Mexicans in such an ugly way?
This is simple. The victors write the history the way they want it remembered.
