Metal coat hangers in garment bag ok for carry-on in airplane?
I am traveling up to Vancouver from Atlanta this weekend and was wondering if metal coat hangers are ok to use for my shirts/suit since I am putting them all in a garment bag as my only carry-on. I feel that I did this once before with no problems, but was just wondering if anyone knew for sure or had a source that says yes or no outright?
My problem with plastic hangers is they are much more bulky and would take up too much space as compared to the wire hangers since I am bringing several extra shirts. Thanks for the link though!

It doesn't say anything about them... but I would try and use plastic ones if I were you. You can get a set of ten at Target or Wal-Mart for around $2.50
