What size do you cut your quilted pillow top?
If I want to end up with a 22x22 Quilted (Hawaiian Style) Pillow... what size do I cut my pillow top.....now this would have to allow for seam allowances & the pulling in that happens during quilting.....What do you think???
The amount of pulling will depend on several variables... type of fabric, type of thread, density and tension of quilting stitches, whether you pre-washed fabric, just to name a few. If your quilted top has a border, make it wide and start with... oh... 28 x 28 or so, then trim whatever you need to evenly from all sides. That should cover most eventualities (unless your border is more complicated than a single fabric.)
