The best knife for the job?
Scenario:
You are alone in the forest with nothing but your clothes and a knife.
You will never make it back to civilization.
The goal is to use the knife to support yourself and defend yourself.
To survive,To cook,To fight, to fish and to hunt.
The objective of this blade is to last you as long as possible in the event of such a scenario.
What blade would be best?
Disqualification-
KABAR ( these knives have proven themselves to be handy, BUT can not be used in any kind of saltwater due to deterioration of the leather.)
No KABAR of any kind regardless if material is not made of leather, any other entries will be accepted.
I literally must have 20 kabar knives.
I personally don't think they make good survival choices for extended periods.
KaBar. I don't care what you say, that's what I'd take. And it wouldn't have a leather handle either. Mine doesn't.
