How can you remove Printer ink from Linoleum?
Please Help?!?!?! My dog got a hold of a printer cartridge and ran all around the house with it. She made a big mess. I have tried everything to clean it up... The stain has been set in for about 3 months. During that time, I have tried leaving 409, bleach, and pine-sol on the spot for about 30 minutes each. The color didnt even budge. I have also tried the Magic Eraser... Needless to say, that didn't work either. Please, Please, if anyone knows, please help. We are moving in a week, and need to get it up fast. Thank you in advance for your help.
If it is a small area you can cut the piece out and replace it and the best way to do this is look under the fridge or stove and see if the flooring is the same and large enough for the patch.
If so cut out the patch piece first making it large enough to do the job then lay it over the damaged area and cut through both pieces at the same time this insures a perfect match do this very carefully you only have the one chance. Then use some vinyl adhesive can be purchased at your local hardware store. After getting this glued into place make sure you clean all excess glue from around edges (or when you remove the weight it may also pull up the patch) and put some kind of a heavy weight on the entire area to hold in place for 12 hrs min.(Remember before actually gluing fit the piece into the patch area and make sure it fits good. This should do it for you good luck. This is the only way after three months you will not get the ink out.
