I want to buy a printer?
I am looking to buy a new printer, one that doesn't have software that will force you to replace the printer after a certain amount of prints, or to buy ink cartridge's that cost more then the damn printer itself, and that encourage (or at least refill friendly)
I don't care about the price, I just don't want to contribute to waste when it can be quite easily helps
I want one with networking capabilities, wireless preferred (WiFi is even better but bluetooth is fine) and that is multi-functional (scanner and printer)
and that is Linux friendly
I am not asking for allot, the technology has been there for ages
I'm not too fussed about the extra features, I just wanna know what printer company is decent, and wants us to be able to contribute to the environment
Color laser printers have dropped in price dramatically.
I don't have one, yet. (I've got five ink jets lying around of which I only really use one - a HP All-In-One.) My next one might well be a color laser. Check them out.
Whilst I sympathize with your wish-list, I'm not sure such a beast exists. Let me know if you find it.
