I have a old green jade flute with silver dragon, two ladies, & a lion all carved on sleeves, what do I have?
I purchased this flute on line a year or so ago and I am now trying to find out what the symbols mean. I assume they represent something of a religion. I also would like to know if it holds any value. I would think it is solid jade and it has a band of silver at each end of the flute with a lady carved in silver on top of each band and at the very end of the flute there is a lion. In the middle sleeve there is a dragon carved in silver. Please contact me if you have any information on this.
