What this movie? Set in the 50-60s, a medical student befriends a kooky Gandhi-inspired student?
I think the movie was released in 1984 and is set in 1950-1960.
A slighty stuck-up student enters college and his roommate is a bizarre one. He spins a wheel just like Gandhi, plays Indian music, never studies yet passes his exams, is a hit with the ladies, etc... To a point where it really infuriates him.
I HAVE to put it on my dvd rental queue.
