What are some of Spydercos best knives?
i dig the native 4 carbon fiber, tough to find.
I love Spyderco and Benchmade. The Native is one of Spyderco's strongest and best looking designs. I have had three versions of the Native starting when it first came out. I now carry the Delica mostly. It's the right length and has good proportions. The clip, as with all Sypderco clip knives, works very well. I like the half-serrated version. I also like its bigger brother, the Endura, very much. I clip on the Endura when I'm hunting or just going out into the woods. It's too large for pocket carry but great for outdoors utilitarian carry. Avoid the all stainless handles on Spyderco's. They're best for engraving as gifts but are very heavy for carry and harder to grip for serious cutting--especially when wet or if you're sweaty. The Endura and Delica are available in carbon fiber if you wish. I also like their Police model very much. Whether or not you can carry one varies by jurisdiction, though. Check your local laws before carrying one. (I had a frustrating situation as a traveler in Massachusetts once with their State's Finest. I learned to check knife laws ahead when travelling and learned my local laws well through that experience.) I avoid their Byrd sub-brand.
In case you didn't know, you can search their website for knives by type of use, handle material, blade steel and more. See http://www.spyderco.com/. From there you can search the web for the best price on a model that you like.
