hi! is there anyway to remove/hide old cuts in linoleum from when you drop a knife? I had a real estate agent over and he said 'hmm, you have some cuts here, the flooring should be replaced...' which seems excessive for a couple of cuts from the points of knives which sadly are now quite visible. thanks in advance!
because the cuts are old, they have darkened with ...dirt? I don't know. I've tried scrubbing them to at least get the black out but no success. I guess that is really what I would like to do.
It can be done if you have replacement vinyl. Not the average DIY job.. By the time you hired it done you could put a cheap but nice looking laminate over it yourself. Since your moving it won t matter to much if its cheap. Or you can give an allowance to replace or fix it to new owner. GL
