what does it mean to be a native american nation?
Are they subject to USA laws and governing forces, or are they their own entities? Is the word "nation" just being used synonymously with "tribe" (even though they are very different in the Social Studies world)?
tribe and nations are very different. i come from a nation..mohawks.
in usa all nations are subject to federal laws but not state laws.
