I am a second year OA member and our troop would like to make some Native American Regalia, and I am lost as to where to start. 
I'm sorry if I have offended you, but I'm not the one to complain to.
ETA: i know who to complain to and we have. apparently the ones in charge have decided we should be honored by the mockery they make you kids do. i don't blame you. but you should know that REAL native people who still live our culture and live it every day of our lives, are offended by this type of thing.
imagine if a group decided to honor jews by dressing like a rabbi and performing a mock jewish ceremony. or dressing like a priest or minister and holding some fake mass. would those people feel honored? no.
if you would, give this message to your scout leaders and let them know. we are not honored. no matter what some preindians want to say. the real onkwehonwe have spoken on this many times.
