Old Wood Pencils
Is the Nikon Coolpix P80 a good digital camera?

Hello. I'm Michelle and I'm 15 years old. I love photography and currently have a canon powershot sd600, but I'm looking for a new more advanced camera. I really enjoy taking close up pictures using macro, especially of flowers and various random objects like pencils, rocks, fruit, books, musical instruments and close up music notes, a nail in wood, light switch, etc. But i also like to take pictures of my two little dogs using different settings like black and white and stuff that are not using macro all the time. So is this nikon camera good for what I want to use it for? Please tell me about your experiences with this camera! Thank you!

I don't own this camera, but the specs blow my mind. It should be more than enough to make you happy and grow as a photographer. Keep in mind, canon has the best line-up in point/shoot digicams, however. (S3 or S5 might be a better idea)
