What is an Oxidized blade?
What is exactly is an oxidized blade? there was a question before about this but it wasnt clear: it only said that if it was oxidized aluminum its much stronger. However, does it have any other purpose?
Im looking to buy either the Victorinox One-Handed Parachutist or the Victorinox One-Handed Oxidized One-Handed Black Trekker (links below). I am looking for something for outdoors. I would normally go with the Trekker because the blade looks nicer but I also really want a gutting blade/seat-belt cutting blade. So does the Oxidized blade really make a difference?
yeah i think its anodized aluminum. oxidized means rusted lol.
