If you were stuck on a raft in the ocean with nothing but a lighter, a small bag of peanuts and..?
a pocket knife...how would you stay alive and save yourself?
Is the raft made out of wood? Anyways, if it is, I'd cut a nice long sturdy flat piece of it for paddling, and a stick size for later use.. if I see rescue coming I'd light the stick as a signal (of course I cut it ahead of time so its dry and flammable). Would eat peanuts sparingly to keep alive... And paddle towards any land I see...
If there's enough wood maybe try making a spear out of it to kill sea creatures I see and eat them.
Wont solve the water shortage problem though
