while double clicking usb pen drive in my computer it displays a list of programs to open with, help!?
instead of usual opening the drive, my double clicking prompts the 'open with' pop up and asks me to select from the listed programs. i want it to simply open when i go thru my computer and double click the drive icon of the pen drive ie E: in my case. please tell me what to do.
probably there is a file in the drive that is set to autorun but the file type is not recognised by windows or the respective application is not installed on your system. To open the drive right-click E:>and click open. if it shows the "open with" screen on clicking open, then there is problem with the registry and I don'y know how to rectify it.
