Hi, I do lots of pen and ink drawing and occasionally paint or wash over the picture. At presnt I am using a size 0.1 nib but wondered if I could get any that were even finer, maybe technical drawing pens or something like that, any help is appreciated, thanks
You may want to try using the Pigma Micron pens. The micro points come in a wide range of sizes, including very fine and the micro pigment ink is waterproof, fade proof and acid free. Another choice is the Rotring Rapidograph ISO pens which also are available in very fine nibs.
Have you tried crow-quill pen nibs? With an acrylic or India ink you will have very fine lines to slightly thicker by putting a bit of pressure on the nib.
I use all three of the hints I listed here with great success in my studio.
