My mother is constantly upset with me because she says I treat her like crap, and that I roll my eyes at everything she says and make her feel like an idiot. But its like I can't stop; I think I hate her. She never talks to me unless its to correct one of my many flaws, do a chore, or point out the obvious. Example: I asked her where the knife was and she said "In the drawer. You know its sharp" with one of those looks like I plan on trying to juggle with them. Whenever I walk into a room with her she asks me to go clean some room or fold laundry. Every single time. She's also told me that I'm fat on several occasions (I'm not, and I know it.) I can't stand her, and I've heard her talking about me to my brothers and sisters, saying things like my nose is stuck so far in the air and that I think that all of them are beneath me. I just don't know how to deal with her! Please help me.
I had to re-read your complaint and I have to laugh a little to say this "I think you two are two peas in a pod"! Just think about it, you know that saying "like mother - like daughter'. It's good girl, you can actually see yourself with kids in the future. You don't need help, you just need to get along.
