What military/tactical knife should I give my Marine brother?
My brother is about to graduate from boot camp and will likely be shipped to Afghanistan after that. He's a great guy, and I want to give him a practical gift that he could use an appreciate. I know very little about knives, to be honest. Someone recommended Randall knives to me (?). I'm not too worried about price right now. Thanks for your help.
It depends, do you think he wants a large or a small knife. Also, does he want one that closes or does he want a fixed blade. If you want a great fixed blade--look at the SOG Team Leader. If you want a smaller automatic knife that closes and opens look at any of the SOG-Tac knives. I included a good link where I have bought knives in the past. You can do some good research there.
