Are there any "Samurai Jack" fans out there? If so give me a holler and let me know why you love it.
One of my fav episodes is when Jack battled with the inner "evil Jack". They fought for furiously for days and at one point the sparks from their swords set the whole forest on fire.
It was a great show. Very artistically done, they took off a lot of ideas from real samurai movies and there's lots of pop culture references - star wars came up a lot. I admire the way they didn't stuff each episode with dialogue, sometimes it would just be Jack, walking in silence for several minutes.
I loved Mako as Aku. His voice was fantastic and his evil laugh was on of my favourite things about the show. Sadly he died last year which is probably one big reason they haven't done another series.
