Who would win this fight: a Samurai warrior, or a Ninja?
I realize that I have not specified a lot of details- but let's assume that both fighters are of equal age, strength, height, and so forth.
You can also give the warriors similar weapons...it's kind of banal, but you could say that they both are armed with swords.
And, in addition, who were the Ninja? Were they former Samurai?
The Samurai are bound by a strict code of ethics. The Ninja have no problem with ethics (just get the job done). I believe this gives the Ninja the advantage.
