Mock katana for movie duels?
Okay, I'd like to make a movie with some of my friends of a duel with katana. Thing is, Iaito's are definitely a no-go, and I'm definitely not going to use a shinken. Does anybody know of a resource for fake swords designed for cinematic purposes? Price is not a concern, even if I couldn't afford it I'd like to see what's out there. Thanks for the info. Cheers!
You need to look up "stage fighting swords". These are designed for live action theater and movies. One such resource where you can actual rent these weapons is http://www.fortecombat.com/. Look under "historic weapons" for a selection of katana.
