As a girl, is it okay to just gauge one of my ears?
I have what I'd like to call a 'defective' ear, meaning even if I use sterling silver, gold, surgical steel, or titanium earrings, one of my earring holes always gets infected.
So... I let it close up. However, the other ear is perfectly fine, and can wear earrings. Obviously, wearing one stud or hoop is stupid looking, but I would like to gauge it. Not huge, and probably no bigger than maybe a six. I'm starting veeeery small, and I have an eighteen, and my current is just the standard pierced twenty.
Being a girl, would just one gauge look okay?
in my honest opinion, no. but then im really big on things being symmetrical, so i am probably a bit biased.
