Old US navy knife problem?
My dad gave me his mothers WWI knife. It is a RH-36 PAL knife. Kinda looks like a KA-BAR. She was in the navy and bought it on base. The handle is stacked leather, and I guess some of it shrunk, because the rings of leather are kind of loose. Is there a way to fix this other than getting new leather?

If it's just dry and not rotten, try wiping off any old wax or oil build up with alcohol, then apply several coats of "Neatsfoot oil" available in most hardware stores, it's an old time leather treatment```````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````````
