How long do you have to wait before you can wear silver in a nose piercing?
I've had my nostril piercing for about 4 months, and I've already changed it once. Would it be okay to change it to a sterling silver nose stud now? Or will I still get the permanent discolouration? And can anyone tell me the first signs of this discolouration, so that I can change it back if necessary?

silver is not a good choice for fresh piercings, but yours should be healed by now. so go ahead and put it in. the first sign of discoloration is discoloration, lol. silver tarnishes and can cause discoloration. kind of like cheap jewelry. i think whit gold or titanium is a better choice.
