Okay, so I have this chinese sword. I'm guessing it's just a wall hanger, as it has a rat tail tang. The decorations on it are pretty cheap (from what I can see), and the designs on the hilt and sheath are pretty generic. The problem with the sword is that the blade came out. The blade itself was held in with what looks like plaster, but I'm not sure, it's off-white and gritty.

I was thinking of pouring some very strong glue down the hilt and shoving the blade in.
I would try a jewelry/metal adhesive. I picked some up in the craft section of Walmart.
