My plan for my future 150 gallon aquarium...?
Heres what im going stock it with-
3 bala sharks
4 clown loaches
1 common pleco
1 fire eel
4 parrot fish
1 black ghost knife fish
I want to also add a few goldfish! can i ?
Im going to be using a sump and 2 cascade 300s at the top and i have a cascade 200 now on my current tank and i was wondering if i could make it work on my sump?
Your clown loaches, bala sharks, pleco, eel and ghost knife will all easily get over 1'. Parrot fish are mutants and I don't support anyone buying deformed man made fish. Goldfish are coldwater and should not be kept in a tropical temp aquarium. I would go w/ 5 Bala sharks, 5 clown loaches and 1 black ghost knife. If you want a pair of slower moving fish then get a pair of turquoise or red head severums the color scheme will be off with the albino. I would not get the pleco or fire eel. The fire eels are difficult to feed when they get large. I think they do best on worms and eat a much larger quantity than you would expect. They also become fin nippers and are escape artists. Just too much trouble. Pleco, if you really want something to help clean the sides of your aquarium then consider a DWARF Bristlenose Plecostomous though keeping up on water changes is what you'll really need. The 150s are great though this will become a crowded tank and you should consider getting a larger aquarium in the future. I keep my clown knifes and tin foil barbs in my 360 because they're all about 18".
