it was a usmc fighting knife. when i was a boy i had a knife like that, belonged to my dad when he was in korea. still razor sharp to this day. it has helped me do many tasks. and has claimed many lives from what i hear. but now the guys are issued a bayonet okcs I believe it is called. it is made by the ontario knife company. but dont fret i still have an old m16 bayonet, that i put on my ar-15 lmao. so the kabar is just as good as any bayonet used by the corps. epoxy is something the guys had already discussed on here. so its useless to tell you when you know now. its not a combat knife, its a fixed blade utility knife, for any to almost all purposes. hunt, fish, kill, and dig with it. its my favorite knife in the whole world. for every marine that used his kabar in combat, a kill was guaranteed every time.
